Inspection enquiries

When you request an inspection we collect your postcode, property type, number of bedrooms, buying stage, the support you're looking for, your timeframe, your name, email address and — if you choose to give them — your telephone number and any additional notes.

We use this information to review your enquiry. Where suitable support is available, we share the relevant details with an independent inspection company so it can contact you about scope, pricing, availability and booking. That company handles your information under its own privacy notice once it contacts you.

We only send you general new-build guidance by email if you tick the optional box on the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Partner registrations

If you register interest as an inspection company, we collect your company and contact details, website, coverage, services and any notes, and use them to discuss a possible referral arrangement.

Security and technical information

Submissions are stored in a secure database that is not publicly accessible. To prevent spam and abuse we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of the connection address used to submit a form, rather than the address itself. We record which version of this notice was shown when you submitted an enquiry.

What we don't do

We do not sell your information or share it for unrelated marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you've given us, or object to how we use it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
